Week 5 part B

Modern Gentleman (MG) I have always wanted to do this type of site, where it teaches/ inform when on what they should knew when it comes to clothing, electronics, eating, dating, and sex.   I would like to collaborate with other experts and make my website a one-stop-shop.   My audience would be Men 18 and up.   I would like to use Facebook, and twitter as my social media sites for now but sooner than later I would like to use Youtube as my primary source.   The site would receive money from customers who subscribe to the site, by subscribing they woulf get incentives like clothing, men gear, gift cards, ect… it would depend on the type of membership which would dictate what they would receive.

Week 5 part1

I decided on set one and it was interesting. Both were selling baby product, but both selling in a totally different way.   The Econobum website was clean and calming graphics and colors, small page, straight to the point.   Cheap diapers website looked playful and colorful, information about the website was given right away, button easy to find. With Econobum I believe that parent that go to this site have an idea of what they are looking for.   This to me would be a more of a selective group of people that would come to the website.   People who really cared about eco friendly way of dealing with diapers.   I conclude this because no where did I find instructions on or anything about the difference between regular diapers and eco friendly ones.   Also, looking through the product, they don’t seen to sell there own product, they just seem to point you to the right direction. Cheap Diapers seem more driven to anyone and everyone.   They have an easy and simple webpage with m

Week 4 Part 2

So a very guilty pleasure of mine as of late is Wish.com.   It is a website that sells from overseas at very low prices.   Besides from the obvious of likening it because of the low prices, its also because of the simplicity of the website.   It is mostly pictures that I can look though quickly and easily with barely any lag.   Makes it almost effortless, easy to search engine, and they will give you percentage off for giving reviews good or bad.   The only real complaint I have is I wish you could pay for a better, quicker, one price delivery service.   Sometimes it takes a month until you receive the products. Another website that I just realize that I use everyday is Yahoo.com.   I use it to get my daily news, that is usually updates by the hour.   I like its titles that keep me interested enough to want to see the rest of the article.   The pictures also help to clarify the titles.   One of my big issues is how I will chose a article that I would like more information on, I

Week 4 Post 1

So I started by opening up 4 random websites and looked at each one, from there I determent which on I thought were terrible and which two I thought were done well.   When examining them I looked for several things, how does the website overall look? Is it clear what there business is for and or what they are advertising? Is the site organized? Is there an easy way to get contact information?   After taking about ten to fifteen minutes on each on website, looking around, making sure I was sure about my decision, this is what I came with. Worst Out of the four that I opened I have to say that Gates N Fences had, in my opinion the worst of the websites and here is why.   Unorganized, I didn’t know where to look, there were articles in different fonts and sizes, the title screen was small and the pictures that were there were everywhere.   The second thing that just did not make sense to me was there bar tab on the left side, with the different color and different designs I just

Week 3 Part 2

1.        Dunkin Donuts 2.        https://www.dunkindonuts.com/en 3.        Twitter https://twitter.com/dunkindonuts?ref_src=twsrc%5Egoogle%7Ctwcamp%5Eserp%7Ctwgr%5Eauthor 4.        I would say they are not well used. 5.        2/11/2018 6.        I think they are using it as well as they could, considering that its just a Donut shop from New England.   They post any positive article about them and have funny/ heart warming stories, but out of there 1.2 million follower they only get about 150 likes per tweet making it seem like there efforts are all for not. 1.        Wendys 2.        https://menu.wendys.com/en   3.        https://twitter.com/Wendys?ref_src=twsrc%5Egoogle%7Ctwcamp%5Eserp%7Ctwgr%5Eauthor 4.        I would say they are uding it very well but not very often 5.        2/3/2018 6.        I think they are using it very well, a lot better than others, with 2.3 Million followers and twitters likes ranging from 1.9 thousands to 20 thousands.   Pe

Week 3 Part 1

I have had difficulties in communications when it comes to businesses.   But to be fair it usually due to my lack of knowledge with the over all subject or a generation gap on the product and or person.   Like all communications, if we are not all in the same page then it will just become more and more difficult, may become irritating and just feel like you want nothing to do with business.   I remember in 2007, It was my first time having my own internet and paying for it, and for some reason my internet was not doing so well, it would go on and off.   So I called the company that was providing me with internet and I recall that conversation where at first I was confused, then irritated, than just overall upset with in 20 minutes.   We just could really understand each other, and to be frank, the man was rude and impatient with me. Social media makes it A LOT EASIER to solve problems, but a lot harder to get noticed.   I hear a lot of teachers/ professors say “lets go to Google

Week 2B

hi,  I just left a comment on three of my classmates blog regarding this week post. The three classmates are Jesus Origal, Storm Marquis, and Ava Domann.

Week 2A: Social Media

I think all social media is geared to personal use, my answer is more towards an “and” than an “or”, that social media is used for personal use and business use.   I can only think of one social media site that is a lot more business than it is personal which would be LinkedIn.   I believe this because it would seem that most social media were made at first to be primarily for personal use, but others have capitalized on its popularity and have been able to make great business investments in social media.   A great example would be how a small coffee show may promote their twitter account to customers, to watch for discounts and such, by having them as followers there would spread the word and this small coffee shop could see a 20% increase in customers just by having a twitter account and posting promotions, drinks and employees. As for which specific site works better for business, it really depends on several factors, like who are your customers? Who do you want your future cu
